# Bug About the permalink

 * Dear, wp team,
 * i was install wordpress 3.6.1 in 2 different laptop. and the problem about the
   permalink if select **Default **link is select then page and post Display proper(
   [http://localhost/yash/wordpress/?p=123](http://localhost/yash/wordpress/?p=123))
   but just i have to change the link for (**Post name **[http://localhost/yash/wordpress/sample-post/](http://localhost/yash/wordpress/sample-post/))
   then page and post not display and 404 page display..

 * It’s not a bug in WordPress you have not activated mod_rewrite and permitted 
   it for your WordPress directory. Make sure that Apache module is loaded and that
   you have `AllowOverride All` is in your `<Directory>` section.
