BUG: 4.3.2 can't save taxonomy | WordPress.org

I add a couple of taxonomies to a meta box. Up to version 4.3.1 these worked/saved fine.

Updating to 4.3.2 breaks this. Any save of the page changes these to the default category. This happens whether I change the choice or not.

Reverting to 4.3.1 corrects the issue.

Yes, I can confirm this too.
But previously some of the “types” didn’t work either.

I had the same issue. I reverted back to an older version for the time being. I reported the bug here and have got no response from the author.

A fellow developer turned me on to this plugin recently. It seems like a better alternative. I will likely start using it going forward after this experience.

ACF is GUI-based, has a huge code base and also has bugs.
Meta-box is great. This is just a simple bug that came up because the developer refactored a component.

Update: 4.3.3 fixes this issue.

The taxomonmies save for me now but I can no longer set a value for the blank option.

I was using
‘std’ =>’Select an option’,

But this no longer works
