# Bug?

 * I created a post as one user. By mistake, I marked it as private.. my mistake..
   but it happened.
 * Later, when i switched over to admin, I was surprised that my posting was gone.
   I didnt know what happened…
 * So I rewrote it.. and I happened to give it the same slug as the private one.
 * Now, on the single page, the private posting suddenly appears after the public
   one (because they have the same slug).
 * I can understand the slug thing.. but shouldn’t the fact that it was private 
   keep it from being visible?

 * I was under the impression that private posts showed to other users, but I’m 
   not sure. I never use that status except to “delete” old posts.

 * Yeah, I had never used it before, that’s why I was surprised when the post dissappeared(
   I must have hit the private selection by mistake).
    I can see how the sql would
   get a little complicated when dealing with “private” postings, on top of category
   filtering, etc. Its not really a problem for me anymore, I just don’t use the
   private option.. just wondering if its a bug in wordpress itself.

 * As far as I remember – private is visible only to its author.
