Support » Plugin: BuddyPress » BudyPress filter.php glitch in Divi

  • Hi, BuddyPress is cool and very powerful. However, there’s a glitch with Divi. On the browser bar message it shows this instead of the site title:
    </br>Warning</br>:Missing argument 2 for bp_modify_page_title()in<b>/home/frostie/public_html/thum-new/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php</br> on line <b>393</br>

    I’ve cleared cache as suggested by ET support but the warning message still persist.

  • The easiest way to deal with this problem is creating a child theme and overriding the header.php.

    In it, replace:

    <title><?php elegant_titles(); ?></title>

    with

    <title><?php wp_title(); ?></title>

    Hope that helps.
    There are other ways; I’m currently sitting on an override for the “elegant_titles” function and try to implement the buddypress functionality. It’s not working too smoothly yet, but I’m somewhat confident I’ll get there. 😉
