  • Hi,

I removed a few of the user options from the budypress user nav tab (such as message and location). its ok with admin but with user all the options have become a long list of all the options?
Is there a way of restoring this? i tried ‘reset all setting’ but it didnt work!

    can anyone help with this??

    Hi,

I’m sorry, I did not understand your problem.

I tried installed and activated to BuddyPress.
    Activity screen on BuddyPress
    Settings screen on BuddyPress

    • user all the options
    • user nav tab
    • long list of all the options

    What do these mean?
    And,

i tried ‘reset all setting’ but it didnt work!

Could you tell me to what did they do reset, please?

    Thanks,
    gqevu6bsiz

it means that the admin bar menu for users (with login logout, avatar, link to buddypress etc. that is normally well organize with sub-menus etc. becomes upside down once the plugin is activated > no more nice orgniaztion, no menus and sub-menus everything appears as a lit of menus

    For example if it was:

    My profile (menu)
    > settings (sub-menu)

    It will appear as

    My profile (menu)
    settings (menu)

Multiply that by the number of links and it becomes a real mess.
Plus the avatar thumbnail (not the tiny one) has disappeared)

    Hi,

Thank you for your explanation! Please let me confirm.

If you have not applied to Admin Bar Menu on WP Admin UI Customize, Admin Bar Menu is will see like this.
    About menus on BuddyPress

If you have applied to Admin Bar Menu,
    Applied menus with BuddyPress

This normally menu is long. and notification menu does not come out.
I think that this menu is shortened. and that notification is display correctly for problem to solve.
Please could you tell me the problem is this?

    And,

Plus the avatar thumbnail (not the tiny one) has disappeared)

    I thought this avatar thumbnail.
    Avatar thumbnail
Is this your said to avatar thumbnail correct?

    Thanks,
    gqevu6bsiz
