Support » Fixing WordPress » buddypress took over myadmin url/cant access admin

  • Hey everyone,

I running a parent website with the intentions of using wp and buddypress to run a social network. The parent website will have a link leading to buddypress.

Heres my problem: All installations were successful.
But after a while buddypress decided to take over the url for my my admin. Now i cant login to run mysite using the dashboard.

I checked the forums and many people are having the same or similar problem. Can anyone help? anyone ever experience this and solved it yet?

  • Try adding to your adres: wp-admin/index.php

    heres what i did.

I deleted everything. Then re-installed wordpress and then buddypress after. Now everything works but is now giving me the following error message:

Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of do_action(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file in /home/content/05/8404005/html/community/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-classes.php on line 751
