• I have a big problem with a buddypress install.
I accidently deactivated buddypress and now the website isnt accessable.
How do i fix this without reinstalling the whole site from scratch?

I take it you can’t get in on the back end either?

You SHOULD be able to get in at domain.com/wp-admin still, as this SHOULD just be a theme issue.

I guess there is no solution then. Should I do a fresh install then 🙁

    1) Don’t Bump.

    2) Be patient.

Everyone who helps out here is an unpaid volunteer. We get you need help, but we have jobs and other things so we can’t be at your beck and call every second.

You’re going to need to review your error logs on your server. If you don’t know where that is, ask your web host. That should tell you what the error is.

A blank page is indicative of a PHP error, which in this case would be cause you turned off BP. That said, NORMALLY you can still get in on teh back end. Did you install WordPress in a subfolder?

ok cool. WordPress is in the main site folder /public_html/

error logs arn’t showing anything to do with WordPress at all. Not a mention!

What theme are you using? Is it a BuddyPress specific theme?

Try renaming the current theme’s folder via FTP and see if you can access it then.
