Buddypress on Subnetwork Subdomain

  • Hi there,

Just started playing with this. I’ve set up a network that is hosted parked on its parent network’s domain. In this way, there isn’t any wp-config for the child network, which I suppose, then, that I won’t be able to add the line instructing Buddypress to reside on a site other than the main site of its network? Is that correct or am I missing something?

    Cheers,
    Paul

If it’s two separate installs you don’t need BP Multi-network.

If you only have one install and you want BP to reside on the subdomain instead of the main site, you don’t need BP Multi-network either. For that check the BP codex & if you don’t find anything on using a subsite post a thread at the BP support forums.
