Hi, I am experiencing a possible problem.

I have BuddyPress + MediaPress on my website.

With the previous releases of your plugin there was the possibility to Set Weight and Height for the Resizing of the images also for pictures that are not in the media gallery.

MediaPress links in the DB the images uploaded by it, in the Media Gallery.

But what I see is that in the new release of EWW plugin, I have set 1920×1920 for the resizing of png and jpg images.

Instead, for images uploaded by BuddyPress + MediaPress, I still see the old values I had set: 1280×1280.

In practice, MediaPress uses the Original Image for its Lightbox. But this original image is resized using the old values 1280×1280 I had set on EWW Image Optimizer that I cannot change now by the EWW visual interface.

I see that the previous feature in your plugin was removed and changed. But, at this point, my question is:

How can I manage the size of images uploaded on BuddyPress, using Media Press?

For images uploaded to the Media Gallery on Blog Posts, Pages, or by the Media Gallery Upload tool, the resizing seems to work properly.

    Kindly, can you help me?

    Kind regards

    G. Aloe

You can do one of two things:
If you would like to still manage the MediaPress settings separately, you can define EWWW_IMAGE_OPTIMIZER_MAXOTHERWIDTH and EWWW_IMAGE_OPTIMIZER_MAXOTHERHEIGHT in your wp-config.php or within functions.php (if you use a child theme).
If you would rather just use the same dimensions for everything, look for ewww_image_optimizer_maxotherwidth and ewww_image_optimizer_maxotherheight in your wp_options table and remove them. You can also set them there, I suppose if you want, but using the constants in wp-config.php is typically easier. See the Overrides page at https://docs.ewww.io/article/40-override-options for examples.

Hi, thank you very much for the support.

I removed the 2 records from the Table.

Everything works very well now, without the settings for the “other images”

    Kind regards
