Hello. I run a social network based on Buddypress which makes use of both embedded videos and self-hosted ones (with some of the videos on an external storage area). In the social network, the users post the links to YouTube videos on the frontend or if they wish, they upload a video, this makes it inefficient and nearly impossible to follow the video instructions on using Presto player. What I want is for all my videos, both embedded and self-hosted to be played using Presta player.

Is it possible on this particular setup? I wouldn’t mind purchasing the pro version if it’s possible. Please check the website first to see what I mean. Thanks

    Hi Twibe,

Thanks for reaching out. Our video player’s current integration is in the WordPress admin (gutenberg, page builders and shortcodes). We don’t have specific integration with BuddyPress for user video uploads on the front-end. This is possible, however, it would involve some customizations to get things to work with your specific setup.

We hope to keep adding more integrations often, but Presto Player is fairly new (about only a month old) so it will take some time for more specific use-cases like this.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
