  • Can someone who has BuddyPress enabled with this theme explain how to edit the alignment? I love this theme and refuse to use anything else. Or is it possible to get this theme BuddyPress ready?

  • Yoohooo 😛 Anyone?

    Hi XIV .. give us as link to your page and we will have a look!

    After I installed and followed all the steps. It said something about checking the pages of Buddy Press to see if everything is aligned. I checked them and they are not aligned and it tells me to edit files but I have no clue on how to do that.
    This is a screenshot of how it looks.

    Have I provided enough information?

    Or does anyone know how or what I need to edit to make the Buddy Press pages align with this theme. =(

    Please go search the buddypress forums as there are many threads there explaining how to do so.

    That’s what I explained already…
    I did everything they said to do but it’s not aligned.
    That’s why I posted here hoping someone else with the theme can explain how they have their aligned… if they have it. Or if the creator can explain it for me.

    they are not aligned and it tells me to edit files but I have no clue on how to do that.

    I already stated over in the BP forums that there is explanations on how to do this.

    OMG. You are not getting what I am saying. I have been in there reading those posts and I have tried things they have suggested and I still DO NOT HAVE ALIGNED PAGES. That is why I am asking if anyone who has WP-Creativix and Buddy Press installed for help. Like the guy Modem did for someone else. That is what I am asking.

    Nevermind. Thanks.

    Uh, yeah, I DO get what you are saying. you’re not getting what I said. Did you notice the threads over in the BO forums about adjusting your theme (any them, doesn’t matter) I’m the one replying there too?

    the BP template pack added a bunch of BP folders to your theme. Look in those folders. See the files? They have HTML in there, the divs aroudn the content need to macth the divs in your theme.

    So, everywhere you see this:
    <div id=”container”>
    <div id=”content”>

    you need to make it this:
    <div id=”sub-content”>
    <div class=”content”>
    <div class=”post”>

    And add an extra closing div at the bottom.

    Clear enough?

    Yes but I don’t know which files were copied over into it.

    <?php get_header(); ?>
    <div id="sub-column">
    <div id="sub-top">
    <?php include(TEMPLATEPATH."/scripts/breadcrumb.php");?>
    <div id="sub-content">
    <div class="content">
    <?php if (have_posts()) : ?>
    <?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
    <div class="post">
    <h1><?php the_title();?></h1>
    <?php the_content();?>
    <?php endwhile; endif;?>
    <?php comments_template(); ?>
    <div class="linkpages"><?php wp_link_pages('before=<strong>'.__('Pages:').'</strong>&pagelink=<span>'.__('Page %').'</span>'); ?></div>
    <?php edit_post_link('Edit Post'); ?>
    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>
    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    So do I take all of this and copy it into the BP pages right?

    Okay from that code I posted. I’m trying to figure out what I need to copy from it and where it needs to be in the files I need to edit. I’ve tried several things and places where I think they should be but I see nothing different.
