    Hello-

Great plugin. It’s doing good work helping me understand what users are doing in the admin, but it’s not meeting my expectations (which could be too extreme) with regard to BuddyPress. I expected it track when people posted new updates (much like how BuddyPress natively does this in the admin), but this isn’t the case. It’s getting when updates are deleted, but not initially posted.

I thought the reason for this was because I’m using a multi-network install, where users technically aren’t users of the site–they’re users of the network (kind of hard to explain in text). So, I attached a user as a subscriber to the site, but that didn’t trigger anything. Also, it doesn’t capture my own updates.

Looking forward, I hope you add an export feature (preferably to CSV or Excel) to do some data analysis outside of WP, or create a data dashboard to view activity.

Great plugin. Best of luck with future versions, and thanks for reading my support post.

  • Hi Kyle,

If Stream isn’t tracking new updates, that’s definitely a bug. It should be doing that. Would you be able to report it, with as much detail as possible, here:

    http://github.com/xwp/stream/issues

In terms of data export, that’s a great idea for a Stream extension. It’s on our list, but not currently a priority. It would be great if a community member championed something like that.

Hi, i am experiencing the same identical problem (but not for a multi site installation).

The service track the posts deleted on buddypress but it doesn’t track the new posts added.

I hope to see a new release as soon as possible with this problem fixed and other improvements.

Stream is a great plugin 🙂

    Thanks for your great work.

    Kind regards
