buddyboss support

I’d love to use this plugin, but apparently it does not work together with buddyboss. Would it be possible to make it work?

I especially need the quoted forum replies (“Quote Reply or Topic”), I don’t understand at all why buddyboss does not support this very basic forum functionality. Any ideas?
