 * During the weekend of August 3-4 I logged into WP Admin and updated to the latest
version. Then, during the following week I tried logging in again and kept getting
incorrect password errors and I couldn’t even access myPHP. I contacted my web
host (Gate.com) and evidently there was an error on THEIR end that they say would
take an endless amount of research in determining the “why it happened”. They
finally were able to fix it so I could get into myPHP, so I changed my password
from there. It didn’t work. So I tried again, following Word Press instructions
on how to reset it. Still didn’t work.
 * That was two weeks ago and I STILL can’t get into WP Admin. I’m at a loss…this
is my BUSINESS website and the longer I’m down, the longer I’m losing money.
Gate says it’s WP’s issue now and I’m wondering if I was a part of the Brute
Force hack. But, that was several months ago. Need help resolving this ASAP,
   please!!!

 * What is the issue? You are not able to log in?

 * Not at all. When I pull up WP Admin and enter my Username/Password I get the
incorrect password error message. If I then click LOST YOUR PASSWORD, it takes
me to my website and a 404 error message. I’ve changed the password in myPHP
several times and it’s not doing any good.

 * When you type your password into phpMyAdmin, are you using the MD5 function before
   saving the new password?
 * This guide shows some screenshots, including where to select MD5 from the dropdown:
