    Hi daveonearth,

    I am sure that after install and configure plugin on any WP sites, guest user can’t access default login page url. You will able to access admin only using newadmin slug.

    Currently in my plugin there are not an option for internally break to login request using curl.So may be some spam code exit into your site that’s why you getting loggin attempt .

    How you are tracking number of login attempts?

    Thank for getting back to me.

    I have sucuri and wordfence that report all login attempts. They report the attempted username and password tried.

    Forgive me but i do not understand your explanation?

    Hi,
    I have the same problem. I am tracking the login attempts through Sucuri Security plugin. After changing the wp login slug, attacks keep coming. I used the same plugin to clean some code in the wp core files. So you are saying that it must be some code inside my wp website that is causing the attempts?
