    Hi

    I was wondering if

    Limit login attempts 5 retries are allowed within 60 minutes

    meaning that 5 retries from the same IP address or in general?

    Is it also for the same IP in the “Citadel mode threshold” case?

    Also, I was wondering if it blocks access to the admin panel or overall login attempts to the website. it’s an eCommerce. Admins can log in on the My Account page as well.

    Hi!

    It means 5 retries are allowed within 60 minutes from a single IP address.

    If an IP address is blocked due to exceeding the limit to the number of allowed attempts to log in, the IP is allowed to submit ordinary forms only. Nothing else. It has no access to the admin panel. Current user sessions (if any) from the blocked IP are not terminated.

    Hi thank you for clarifying. So even Citadel mode will not stop them from logging in to a non-admin-wordpress account (for example ecommerce customer).
