 * My hoster has implemented a curtain stopper username/password which, I suppose,
   would be common to all subscribers – it means notifying them that they now need
   two layers of security. However, this is going to m massively deter anyone from
   logging in (I currently use S2 Member) and perhaps WP needs to do some PR to 
   help its user and ensure that all of the available plugins are not negated by
   these actions. I use other security plugins too.
