    To add to the above….

    All you really need to do is to remember the secret word which you chose when you configured the Brute Force Prevention feature.
    As you long as you know this then remembering the URL is easy – it is simply your website URL followed by “?yoursecretword=1”.
    Eg;
    xyz.com?secretword=1

    Yeah..Thanks..But with a multiple websites of clients its hard to remember all..So, I guess putting back the old .htaccess will be the solution and just do again the settings for the security…
