  • wow, that is not right at all! How did you determine that the load time increased by that much? Ddi you check for conflicts or ping us in support? Happy to help.

I used a utility W3 Performance monitor or something like that. It was the top rated / recommend performance plugin. I disabled all plugins and ran the test, saved the results as my baseline. I then enabled the plugins one at time and compared results to baseline. All was fine until I turned on All-in-One Event Calendar and load time went from 1 second to 7/8 seconds and the report comparisons told me roughly 75% increase due to to the plugin. Unfortunately I do not have the reports as the site is gone live so I removed all unnecessary plugins.

Before selecting this plugin I had concerns as there are a large number of community posts with the same result. Do you feel the other posts were resolved through finding conflicts?

    There are 2 scenarios-

    1. You have some 2 dollar a month hosting package. Then yes, you will run into performance problems, typically not enough memory. On update there will be an error. This is mostly b/c of our theme options. It is a great feature, but it requires more memory.

    2. P3 Performance Plugin by GoDaddy. It is very popular, and in our latest release we have a conflict with it. For some reason it shows inflated load times with our plugin. We have been talking to their lead developer but we haven’t discovered the root cause yet. We have done extensive testing with other tools like New Relic and Xprof, all reports show acceptable performance. Even some P3 reports look good.

It is a very annoying problem!

    1) Bluehost.com
    2) Performance tests were backed up with actual results when disabling and enabling the plugin.

hmm, I have seen the odd problem with Bluehost. Happy to dig deeper if you want to post in the support forum.
