No offense, Shadow, but I don’t see any similarities between our two websites. The biggest difference, in my opinion, is that your is NOT valid markup as it purports to being.
willnea, i’ve always been a fan of the “textism” site – a good, balanced approach.
And shadow loading from the cache is one thing. Loading on dial up from scratch is something else. Yours is a high graphics site. That is the point of it.
We love it. But really broadband is needed I think you would agree.
joec, appreciate your sarcasm. i have actually toyed with including some kind of aqua-like shades of gray designwork, but it’ll be sometime in the future.
shadow, i agree with the ‘anonymous coward’ that there are few, if any, similarities between my site and yours. yes, as root points out, it takes forever (which means longer than a billionth of a second) for your site to load, it’s not valid markup (granted, only one missing closing tag). what common ground were you smoking, err thinking?

I know my site takes like a trillion years to load. That’s the sarcastic humour bit kicking in!
Sorry to have bothered so many with my silliness – it is a mistake I promise not to make again.
And yes ‘anonymous’ – there was an error in my validation – a simple closing tag was missing. Now rectified.
Do you honestly think I looked at both sites and thought – wow – they are so much alike!
My input here was nothing more than an attempt at humour – obviously very misplaced. I can assure you that I have learned from the experience.
