[resolved] Brunelleschi child theme: Change site title size (5 posts)

I have customised Brunelleschi changing fonts/link colours etc.

Not being at ease with programming, I just added a new style.css in the editor, but there is one thing I can't figure out: I would like to increase the size of the font for site title and decrease the size for the post title and body.
Which code should I change? Basically, I would like the site title to be the size of the post title, and the body the same size as the dropdown/date/posted by/etc menu font.

Thanks a lot for your help!

It looks like you don't have a valid child theme set up - the entire regular stylesheet is showing up in the theme. Did you follow this:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Alternatively, does your theme have a custom CSS option? or you could use a custom CSS plugin such as jetpack so long as you only want to change CSS (not any other theme files).

I have created a custom CSS with all the changes to the main theme, but not a real child theme.
I'll see if I can figure out the changes to the font sizes using jetpack.
    Thanks for your answer, WPyogi.

Try using a browser developer tool for this kind of exploratory CSS work.
I use Google Chrome's built-in Developer Tool because I find it particularly easy to use.

    Alternatively, ask general CSS forums;
    http://csscreator.com/forum
    http://www.cssforum.com.pk/
    http://css-tricks.com/forums/
    http://www.welovecss.com/
    http://www.codingforums.com/

Now that you know the style, from being exposed/added by the Developer Tool, you can add a new style to override it.

    Thanks a lot.
Jetpack seems to be doing the trick, and Firebug helps me finding the correct code on the page.
Will delve into the way to create a new style instead of overriding it with custom CSS.
