    Hi,
Today when I opened http://www.clicnews.ie in my browser instead of the site title in the tab I am getting
‘<? bloginfo(‘name’); ?>’ > I recognise that this is the call for the site title – which I have set in the General settings.
I’m wondering why the php code is showing instead of the Title.
Would it be an error in one of the files and if so which file is most likely to be at fault?
This is also happening at another site http://www.clicdublin.ie. but not at other installations of WordPress I have done e.g. http://daithiobroin.ie/blacksvan/ and http://boinde.ie/.
    Any help would be appreciated.

That looks like an issue in uour current theme’s header.php template file. Try changing <? bloginfo('name'); ?> to <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>.

    Thank you esmi!!
I had recently upgraded my php via a link from my HOST and the problem came up after that.
I’ve changed the code as you suggested and it is running fine now.
    Thanks again.

You might want to check all the other template files in your theme and replace any other occurrences of <? with<?php`.
