Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » Browser Tab no longer displays SEO Title

After updating to 14.0.4 all my web pages are now displaying the internal wordpress page title in the browser tab instead of the SEO title that I set in Yoast.

From what I can tell, the results in Google are still using the SEO title, but seeing all the issues with Yoast 14 I am very concerned that will not last.

Has anyone else run into an issue with browser tab text for your pages since the update? Did anyone find a solution?

Hi @kford13, could you please provide us with a URL of this which we can check the page source if the SEO title tag is outputting properly?

    Hi Michael,

I rolled back the update to Yoast 14 and my pages returned to normal. I confirmed it wasn’t any other plugin, because I updated everything except Yoast and the titles remained normal.
