    hello,

    would it be possible to send browser notifications instead of emails?

    maybe hook into some existing plugins like one_signal, and when user is signed up, send both email and browser notification?

    or any other userful ideas? I would like to notify users of my website whenever they have received a reply on a message, ticket, comment, note on order, etc..

    or maybe just add some option/button somewhere, like: “Notify me of follow-up replies with browser notification” to get the permission?

    Hey, yeah, it would be possible and we plan to do that extension. We’d try to use the native browser notification or indeed use One Signal.

    If you feel ok with integration with an API you could register your account on One Signal and try to send a webhook to them to distribute push notifications.

    how would i go about sending notifications to the right user, and the enabling/disabling notification (from the user profile menu?)

    This is a very complex question and depends on the medium. Nonetheless, it’s quite difficult to target the specific person and their devices according to my knowledge
