 * I’m just learning blogging and WP, have put up my first site **(www.oneheadsup.
   org)**and have encountered a situation where with Firefox and Safari the blog
   runs perfecetly, but on IE7 and IE8 (the only Explorers I’ve tried) I lose my
   sidebar in SOME of the posts!!?? I can’t figure this one. Any help will be greatly
   appreciated. Many thanks.
 * Bruce

 * [Validate](http://validator.w3.org/) the pages and see what comes up
 * also, if you post from word or office or a like editor it will bork your layout
   in IE

 * Thanks, Samboll . .that is some very useful information. What I have been doing,
   and may have to not do, is create my Page or Post in Word, save it as a Web Page,
   open the web page, copy and paste it into WP. It “looks” like it works fine and
   in fact it does, but not apparently with IE. I validated one of the pages ([http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.oneheadsup.org%2Fthis-software-is-really-great%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=](http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.oneheadsup.org%2Fthis-software-is-really-great%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=))
   and have 20 errors, but I am clueless how to interpret it. Without having to
   give me an intensive course 🙂 could you perhaps explain it a little further?
   I really appreciate your attention. Many thanks.
