broken using 3.5 Sunspot theme

I was using addthis follow by pasting the embed code into a text widget. When I upgrade to 3.5 it disappeared viewed page source every thing looked fine. Searched the plugins saw you had one so I tried it same result. adds the code but no buttons. I am using Automattic’s Sunspot theme
