• I installed the theme last night and it worked properly. Then I upgraded WordPress to 2.9.1 and several things were broken:

Options seem corrupted, I have tabs for options and design but no ability to change the layout- ie I can alter colours etc but cannot actually change/view slider settings, column settings and so on. There is simply no button for it

The category panel on the right bleeds into the content on the left. You can see this in the preview option on wordpress.org.

I’ve tried deactivating, deleting via dashboard, and via FTP to no avail.

  • Can you provide a link to that theme, please.

    Thank you.

Hi, its Swift, if you click to preview, it bleeds the category into the image.

Please post a link to your blog here.

Follow the procedure described here to upgrade.

Gandham, it’s not installed atm as I want people to visit the blog (it doesn’t get 1,000’s of hits a day but enough that I can’t leave it down for any length of time). I’ve tried updating via ftp and via the dashboard. I went back to F2 and then deleted all the swift themes through dashboard and cleaned out of the folders via FTP and started again.

I get the same formatting errors when I go to the wordpress.org page and hit the preview button (on firefox 3.6) though, so at least the appearance element would appear to be non specific to me. It’s the loss of dashboard options thats the killer though- I’ll have a look at mirroring it on another site and installing with no plugins I think.

Its a great theme though, especially considering that a lot of similar ones cost $70+ 🙂

If you have problems on the new blog to, then post a screen shot.
