Hi all, . . . brand-newbie here. Error message at bottom of WP Appearance, . . . (Broken Themes – The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template. Name: wp-e-commerce. Description: Style Sheet is missing.) Ok, I give up completely with wp-e-commerce. I have seen other people have this problem from two years ago; and a month ago; and it is still not fixed, patched, notated? Have deleted the theme CraftyCart; have deleted Plug-in, wp-e-commerce. The error message at bottom of WP Appearance PERSISTS, and I don’t even have the theme installed! How to get it off bottom of my WP Appearance screen? I have deleted the files from my computer as well. Please guide me. And thank you for helping; am grateful. Beth

  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the broken theme folder in wp-content/themes

All, . . . figured out where the filed still lurked in uploaded files via FTP/FileZilla. Got the Broken Theme message to disappear. Yay! Re-installed Crafty Cart and WP-e-commerce. Only challenge now is to get cart to appear on the web page, of my choice. I put [productpage] on the page I want the cart to show up on, but I am still doing something wrong. Does anybody know the whole shortcodes and tags trip well enough to give what I am sure is a super simple answer. I am hunting also. Thanks esmi! Your comment kind of let me know I was on the right track. Determined. Beth

It might be an idea to post your WP-Ecommerce question in the Plugins forum.
