Broken Sidebar, what's the cause?

  • Hi there,

I’ve just been adding some CSS and basic changes for a client, and the sidebar & footer widget areas have broken.

It looks as though there might be an open Div tag somewhere but I can’t find anything.

It’s using Streamlined theme, on the Genesis framework.

    Any ideas?? Thanks!

  • There are a couple of unclosed </br> tags

Fixing the unclosed tags in the content or sidebars text widgets, will likely get rid of the other validation messages, these topics are 99% of the time due to HTML tags not being closed.
    Example:
    <p class='atfield'>First Name<br><input type='text' name='first_name' size='20'></p>

    Cheers David,

I did find the br tags, embarassingly it was something a little more simple.

Someone has accidentally deleted half of the CSS… can’t imagine who!

    Thanks
