# Broken Permalink

 * I am having a problem with the Ultimate Catalog not working properly. If you 
   go to mainegundealer.com/blog on your desk top it works fine. If you go to [http://www.mainegundealer.com/blog](http://www.mainegundealer.com/blog)
   on your desk top the search / sort functions will not work. If you go on your
   mobile phone the search/ sort functions will not work. I called Yahoo (Abaco)
   web hosting support who does my hosting and they determined it was a permalink
   problem with my blog. I know nothing about permalinks. I was told by them to 
   call WordPress and tell them to look at my permalinks which it looks like there
   is no way to do this. Is there anyone out there that could help with this?

 * Permalinks are the permanent URLs to your individual pages and blog posts, as
   well as your category and tag archives. A permalink is the web address used to
   link to your content. The URL to each post should be permanent, and never change—
   the name permalink.

 * Ok however I need help to fix this problem. I don’t understand why mainegundealer.
   com/blog works and [http://www.mainegundealer.com/blog](http://www.mainegundealer.com/blog)
   does not.

 * I can take a peak later, my office blocks the url here.
 * In the WP dashboard under settings > permalink and see what they are set too.
   I usually use the post name one.
