Support » Fixing WordPress » Broken Perma-links after site migration

  • Hello all,
I just migrated a very large site using BackUpBuddy from a paid hosting provider (HostGator) to our in-house servers. I put it onto two servers, one of which is a dev. server and the other is the Production server. Migration went smoothly, databases were set up correctly, and all appeared well, but on the dev. server, no permalinks worked whatsoever. On the production server, there were no issues at all and it is identical to the site we had before. How would I go about debugging this issue with the dev. server? Perma-links work on clean installs, but not from a backup. Also, I do not think the issue is with BackUpBuddy, seeing as there were no issues on the production server. I cannot provide a link, b/c the site in question is in what we call the ‘DMZ’, and cannot be accessed externally, and it cannot access any external web servers.
