When I update the web with f5 several times you see for less than 1 second the broken page styles and then they load well… It happens since I’ve updated to the latest version of the plugin, I’m attaching an image of how the page looks during that short period of time, it looks pretty bad.

  • I was hoping this was not related to the plugin. I’m having this issue before version 3 and was in contact with theme support (no solution so far). When ever I update something using customiser or Elementor then the products page loses whole styling exactly like yours.

I’m using Astra with Elementor (not for WooCommerce).

    Hi,

    Please check this wiki

It’s due to load CSS async without Critical CSS.

If I turn off “Generate critical CSS in the background” the same thing keeps happening to me… the only way not to destroy the styles is by turning off “Load CSS asynchronously” with which I lose speed and optimization… this has been happening to me since the last update of the plugin. I attach a picture

    Hi,

As state in that wiki , this issue happens due CCSS is not inserted.

Please check in your HTML source code and see if CCSS is inserted

If not , please enable debug log , purge all , purge CCSS , then access the page , the log will state why CCSS failed to generated or inserted.

If you insert it, the problem is that it almost always loads the critical css first for less than half a second and then loads my page normally and that transition looks horrible and before this plugin update it didn’t happen. The only way is to remove the asynchronous loading, this way I don’t load the first impoverished style and then correctly, it simply loads the correct style from the beginning.

    Hi,

The critical CSS is supposed to address that “horrible transition”

Could you please provide the report number ?

you can send report in LiteSpeed Cache side-menu —> Toolbox —> [5] Report

    Hi,

Are you sure it’s same site as your screenshot ? this report number is related to site: ma__l__df.net

I have installed Lite Speed in 2 identical pages, same plugins, same template and same settings. And in the 2 I have the same transition but in the 1 (the one in the screenshot) I had to disconnect the Lite Speed temporarily because it was breaking the web completely. That’s why the report corresponds to m*****es.net since in the 2 the same thing happens and they have exactly the same configuration. Greetings and thanks for the support

    Hi,

But from what I see in report and also in HTML source code.

You have load async CSS on , and also CCSS rule is empty , that’s exactly the cause of it.

Do I have to deactivate the 2 options of this picture too ?

    Thanks !

If I disable the asynchronous loading of CSS and the critical CSS generation in many URLs I get ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR attached to a picture. (I am the same as the one in the thread https://wordpress.org/support/topic/err_http2_protocol_error/#post-12747274 )

As you said in that thread, I’m going to test if disabling the CSS HTTP/2 Push option will solve it.

I’ve attached a picture of the error: https://ibb.co/wSH7FML

    (@elevas33)

What goes doesn’t work… again the ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR at the moment that I deactivate the 3 options of CSS of asynchronous download, to generate critical CSS and to generate critical css in background I receive that error shortly after navigating and soon it disappears… it is a problem of the plugin… I’m going to send you a new report if you like it and I’ll activate again the annoying asynchronous loading so you don’t give me this ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR because it leaves me a nice blank page xD

My new report with the options with this default error is:BANJJJZZ

    Thread Starter Gruskel

    (@elevas33)

Strange, I have activated again all the options including the asynchronous css loading and all the options including css loading in the background and I have deleted the plugin cache, except that I have also deleted all the cache in my web browser and also in my mobile and now the annoying transition almost never appears and the ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR has been removed. The strangest thing is that apparently it has not been solved until I have deleted the cache of the browser in which I have the web admin .

    Hi,

Well , actually from my side of checking , I still see the CCSS rule is missing.

But the unstyled flash can be reduced depends on network speed is CSS’ are being loaded faster enough.

    Best regards,
