# Broken on WP 4.0 – Mangling code

 * – Visual view does not reflect text view.
    – Changing from visual view to text
   view mangles the code – removing span, paragraph & line break tags, adding extra
   paragraph & line break tags and incorrectly changing indenting. – Starting with
   text view mangles the code – adding extra paragraph close tags and incorrectly
   changing indenting.
 * This is what I noticed but there may be other problems.

 * Not to surprising, seeing that the plugin is listed as compatible with 3.4.2 
   only. You should vote that this version is incompatible with your version of 
   WP to inform others.

 * I’d say it’s the best WP IDE around, too bad it hasn’t been updated in almost
   two years.

 * Hi Miloš, thanks for responding! The main plus point of Synchi is the comprehensive
   directory view.
 * I can give you my email address but I don’t want to leave it here. How can I 
   PM it to you?
 * If you create a default WP 4 setup for testing, the problem should be easily 
   apparent if you follow the repro steps in my original post. Let me know if you
   need any more info.

 * Hey Miloš, I saw you released a new version of Synchi, thanks! I haven’t had 
   a chance to test it out yet — too much other stuff going on at work that I have
   to concentrate on. But I will let you know how it’s working when I get a chance.
