I’m all confused!
I already had my own domain name on WordPress.com and bought the “redirect” pack for one year so I thought I’d be fine with the links stuff after the move.
To be sure, I downloaded the plugin and had all links be updated from my old wordpress blog name to my domain name urls.
I have not closed my old wordpress.com blog, though I made it private as is suggested.
My pictures show up in post-thumbnails… and my internal links all work…
But my in-post pics don’t work. All those links are broken.
Turns out instead of my_domain.com/wpcontent it’s listed as my_dowmian.comwpcontent !!!
I have no idea why it turned out like that, without the slash.
And I have no idea how to correct that, except to go through each post and re-add the images from my library.
I tried just adding the “/” but it didn’t work.
So I wonder if the plugin created that problem, or if there is a way it could correct it.
Because when you have the same “old” and “new” URL, how the heck can I use it?
