# Broken Layout

 * Hello,
 * I installed wordpress about a month ago on my site, and everything worked great.
   I made my own theme but really it’s just another Kubrick. Other than that, the
   site is a really simple install.
 * But about a week ago the site broke itself. Now the sidebar has jumped down to
   the bottom of the page and the footer is offset. I haven’t made any major changes,
   just added new posts and people have left a few comments. I have no idea what
   could have happend to my site.
 * I don’t really know css or php, just enough to tweak existing code. But I can’t
   figure this problem out. I don’t think it’s my theme, cause switching themes 
   or uploading my backup theme files doesn’t solve the problem. It seems like a
   simple error like a column is too wide or something like that, but the only changes
   I can think of have been posts and comments.

 * Generally, this sort of thing occurs because you have something either in the
   content area or the sidebar which is wider than it’s container.

 * nm, i’m an idiot. sorry for posting before thinking.
 * i’m using email to send updates to my pages and what should be just text is getting
   some weird formatting. fixing that fixed the problem.
