Hi Mark,
Thanks for your feedback. We have already tested it with 4.4 and verified that it works. Evidently there might still be something that needs to be smoothed out, either within your setup or with the plugin itself.
It would be very helpful if you could paste the error you get when activating the plugin. Could you do that for us?

The above error will be triggered if you have an older version of PHP on your server. Please update to 5.3 or anything greater, as is now required by WP RSS Aggregator.

Very strange. As I mentioned above I am running PHP 5.4. In fact I installed the plugin again on a fresh install and it works fine, so there is either a conflict with one of the old addon plugins or it just doesn’t like the update.
I give my feedback here, php is 5.6, feed not fetched even if correct and working with another plugin (RSS Feed Widget: 2.1.0 but not workinf same error with Hungyfeed), feed validates ok except for the style attribute max-width, minor issue, the error your plugin find is a Category at line line 30, column 117 invalid character…
Line 30: <category><![CDATA[Ossessione]]></category>
tested on 2 different website with different feeds.
Before updating WP to 4.4 all was ok.

I am having a similar problem with the feed to post, after the upgrade to WordPress 4.4 and the upgrade to the plugin I have the following problems
1. Feed are showing up multiple times even with the unique title checked
2. Video feeds from youtube do not work any more
3. When a video feed is updated it says updated but there are no feeds when you click on view posts
Things I tried to get it to work
1. Deactivated all other plugins – did not work
2. Recreate the video feeds – did not work
3. Unchecked and rechecked unique titles – did not work

@giac Can you please share the feed source you are trying to import ? Also, let me know the error you are facing with this feed source.
@neeoo We are able to reproduce this issue on WordPress 4.4 with Youtube feeds and will be fixing it soon.

@chirag Swadia: I fixed it it would not take doing ‘[wp-rss-aggregator]’ I had to add something to it like ‘[wp-rss-aggregator thumbnails=’true’]’ I just don’t have thumbnails even using the above but I can live with it. Thanks.

Just bought almost $300 worth of plugins and can’t get the free part to work.
Hi Thenook, the error which you have mentioned will be triggered if your PHP version is less than 5.3 Please update your PHP version to fix this issue.
