 * Hi [@alexmarcoux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexmarcoux/),
 * I couldn’t see any JS error in the /blog page. You meant you noticed the error
   in the browser console or within any specific section of the page?
 * What I could notice in the browser console is the following error:
 * > [Screenshot at 19:26:59.png](https://imgur.com/Ff2oia3)
 * Other than the above, I couldn’t find any broken images. The above console doesn’t
   seem to be caused due to Hummingbird and points more with Contact Form 7 plugin.
 * At the moment, there aren’t any know issues with Hummingbird and JQuery. Could
   you please point out further about the issue you are facing and if possible please
   share a screenshot so that we could have a better idea?
 * Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day ahead.
 * Best Regards,
    Nithin

 * Hi [@alexmarcoux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexmarcoux/)
 * Thank you for response!
 * I see that there’s JS error and based on what I see in browser console, it seems
   a change in Asset Optimization settings would be required.
 * I’m not sure if you have it currently set to “Automatic” or “Manual” optimization
   on “Hummingbird -> Asset Optimization -> Assets” page so if it’s “Automatic”
   please switch it firs to “Manual”. While doing that you’ll see an option in popup
   to “Apply configurations” so please make sure that this option (checkbox) is
   checked – so all optimization settings would be carried over from automatic to
   manual mode.
 * Once that’s done, look at the JS assets list and find these four of them:
 * jquery-core
    jquery-migrate easing elastislide
 * Try to disable “compress” and “combine” options for the first one (if “compress”
   button is “grayed out” for any of these assets, only disable “combine” one),
   publish changes, visit the site e.g. in incognito window and browser it around
   a bit and then check if it solves the issue.
 * If not, in addition to the same with the second one of these files and so on.
 * This should fix it but if it doesn’t – let us know here.

 * Thanks for your response. I was set on “manual” optimization.
 * I also see that there are a number of warnings on JQ assets (and CSS Yoast admin)
   that the files are already compressed and they recommend turning off compression.
 * Should I switch to automatic optimization?
 * Or, uncompress all the assets that have warnings?
 * Thank you!

 * Hi, [@alexmarcoux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexmarcoux/), thank you
   for following up.
 * Let’s try decompressing the ones that are giving you a warning, save details
   and clear cache.
 * Once you confirm the site is working normally, try compressing, combining and
   moving them.
 * This process might take some time but it will give you the best results for your
   specific configuration.
 * Regards,
 * Jorge.

 * Thank you, Jorge. I did that but it did not solve the problem. The images are
   still broken. what do you suggest? Should I try automatic optimization?
 * Thank you.

 * Thank you for following up, [@alexmarcoux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexmarcoux/).
 * I was wondering if you see the images when you are logged in and on the front-
   end of your site you select to see the page unminified? It will be located in
   the admin bar -> Hummingbird [https://monosnap.com/file/q3LycIp8PxfOOVPKxmcT0ptMdkQaDC](https://monosnap.com/file/q3LycIp8PxfOOVPKxmcT0ptMdkQaDC)
 * Looking forward to your reply.

 * Thank you for your note. No, they still are broken when I “unminified.”

 * Should I deactivate hummingbird and see if that fixes the broken images? Or could
   that cause more damage? Thanks in advance for your help.

 * Hello there [@alexmarcoux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexmarcoux/)
 * It seems that the jQuery files are still included in a combined file that could
   cause issues.
    [https://alexmarcoux.com/wp-content/uploads/hummingbird-assets/1ade2bef544bca9afb920d9e9ff9e255.js](https://alexmarcoux.com/wp-content/uploads/hummingbird-assets/1ade2bef544bca9afb920d9e9ff9e255.js)(_/**
   handles:jquery-core,jquery-migrate,easing,elastislide**/_)
 * If you already disabled **all** options in Manual Asset Optimization (minify,
   combine, move to footer, defer), please try to clear caches in Asset Optimization,
   clear Page Caching and any other caches that are involved, and check this again
   from a clear browser.
 * Let us know how that goes,
    Dimitris

 * **So, your instructions were to **
    “Let’s try decompressing the ones that are
   giving you a warning, save details and clear cache.
 * Once you confirm the site is working normally, try compressing, combining and
   moving them.”
    ** I decompressed all the assets with warnings and cleared all
   the page and asset optimization cache. Then cleared my browser and I still have
   the problem so I have not moved into “compressing, combining and moving them.”
 *  thanks.

 * Hi [@alexmarcoux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexmarcoux/),
 * Is this issue still happening on your site even when Asset Optimization is disabled
   completely?
 * I’m asking this because I checked your site by avoiding minification through
   [https://alexmarcoux.com/blog/?avoid-minify=true](https://alexmarcoux.com/blog/?avoid-minify=true)
   but the issues were still there and the console error didn’t go away.
 * Did anything else update on your site together with Hummingbird?
 * Cheers,
    Predrag
