    The image URL has no bearing in the cart. So what you said can’t happen. I also tested it myself by deliberately using a broken image in the product display box shortcode and adding the item to the cart. There is no issue there.

    I do apologize. I did some more investigation. This is my server’s fault for serving a new random PHPSESSID cookie in the http response headers for a 404 status.

    Strange behavior… I’ll have to contact my host to find out why they have it set up that way.
