• Hi all!

The page I am working on was all ok with Litespeed Cache, then I gone greedy and tried Asset Cleanup(for unloading unnecessary home plugins) and Autoptimize (for deferring JS) on top. With only Asset Cleanup, everything seems ok. then, when added Autoptimize, page layout etc broke. Then I removed Autoptimize first, no change, then Asset Cleanup, still no change to issues.
Now there are lots of errors I can figure out.
Header nav sub menu is sometimes unclickable, on desktop mode, it disappears, homepage services cards are unclickable, some pages are completely broken down.
Somehow, whole homepage body text is underlined, but not on editor side.

I will really appreciate any advise, direction and guide on where thinks went wrong.

  • First as you have discovered mixing optimization plugins is risky and also often makes things worse.

Start off by deactivating and deleting all three plugins.

Then in your file manager delete the folder wp-content/cache

    Does that make things better?

If so take a back up and start trying again.

Personally I believe if your host is a Litespeed server all you need is Litespeed cache correctly configured.

Thank you @alanfuller for getting back to me and the advise.
I did delete the cache folder content, but still having some issues.
Homepage – our services menus are acting “weird” (not so much technical knowledge
to describe better) on desktop; some are not clickable or not acting as they supposed to. On mobile; when clicked, it opens keypad instead of following the link, need to press few times to get to link.
About page header layout is our of order.
I can’t tell what is actually causing these.

    Thank again for your time.

After removing those caching plugins, you might still have some caching going on in your browser. Otherwise, the issues might be unrelated to the caching changes.

The issue is caused by modal popup, confirmed by authors and will be fixed on next update. At least that’s what they said.
