Delete the following folders:
wp-admin
wp-includes
Then reupload them again, manually, from a FRESH copy from wordpress.com
Something went wild there!
Hi Ipstenu,
Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried that already a couple of times making sure my plugins and themes folders were removed from wp_content, and it still doesn’t work.
Plugins and themes shouldn’t really matter at this point…
Humor me, though. Try a different browser?
At first I thought it was a cache issue or a problem loading images too:
I’ve been working between Opera 11.10 and Firefox 3.6.13. Testing with IE 8.0.760, and on a Macbook using Safari working with 2 different computers.
I’ve been at this problem for a couple a days now.
OH!! Maybe this is a problem with the updated Language files. The site’s language is set to Spanish, and none of the text is showing up!!
Maybe if I change the language back to English it will work.
Worth a try!
That is possible. All it takes is one corrupt file to go crazy :/
Okay. Installing the Spanish version of 3.1.2 didn’t work, but I finally decided to just backup the wp_content folder and install a fresh version of the wp_content folder from the spanish version. That got me back to working. It has to be some sort of Plugin incompatibility. Removing the content folder was my last option. I’m glad it worked.
I was able to recover the Dashboard. Thanks for your help Ipstenu.
