Broken CSS after page refresh / reload, cache problem?
-
Hi,
I’m semi-new to WordPress development and have very basic PHP, CSS and HTML skills. I am experiencing some issues with the style of my site whenever I refresh/reload a page. It only happens on the second page view (same problem with any other page reloads after that).
Check out the issue here: http://www.gamekoop.com
Visit the homepage (or any page) and then refresh the page. You’ll notice that the social icons at the top right will only load partially (the font does not appear). Another issue you’ll notice is that the headings on the right sidebar will also disappear after refreshing the page.
I’m thinking this may be a caching issue. I noticed the issue a couple of days after testing out both W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache plugins (I didn’t have both installed at the same time). I’ve noticed these issues with the caching plugins installed and enabled, installed and not enabled, and uninstalled. Same problem all around. I even tried COMPLETELY removing W3 Total Cache by accessing FTP and deleting remaining files in /wp-content.
I am not completely against using WP Super Cache (not so sure about W3 Total Cache, too complicated for me as of now). It may be something as simple as messing with the settings.
Please let me know if you have any insights or solutions 🙂
Thanks in advance!
