# Broken Code for External Contributors

 * I had a little help from a co-worker in describing this issue that we’re experiencing.
   It seems that when posts for external authors and contributors the date and the
   name of the author appear like this: Jul 15, 2014 by Audrey Pettit” class=”author”
   >Audrey Pettit
 * My co-worker found that, as an administrator, I don’t have this issue when posting.
   Here are the details that he provided me:
 * Working Tags appear as follows:
 * `<div class="meta">Jul 14, 2014 by <a class="author" href="Laura Hollar">Laura
   Hollar</a></div>`
 * Broken Tags appear as follows:
 * `<div class="meta">Jul 13, 2014 by <a rel="author external" title="Visit Jeanne
   Streiff’s website" inkypaws.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com"="" http:="" href="<
   a href=">Jeanne Streiff</a>" class="author">Jeanne Streiff</div>`
 * He says that the issue is when the external author/contributor’s website is being
   added to the anchor tag.

   from?

 * I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek 
   support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not have access to, nor do we
   support, [commercial products](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products)
   here.
