I have updated plugin, and now manage to get a single page result, but only for the ‘testing page’ for forms… not live pages the forms appear on – I have 9 active forms.

(I cannot deactivate any plugins to find the culprit if is a conflict, because i need all that are active).
Could you try uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling? It creates a custom database table and that could help clear out some cached/old info.
Also, what version of PHP is your server running? Your web host should be able to answer this question if you don’t know.
Are you mainly using the Gravity Form Gutenberg block? Or shortcodes within Gutenberg?
