  • Hi @bpsd,

Greetings and thanks for posting about this. Sorry if you’ve had trouble with it, there’s been another post on the matter here:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-doesnt-works

If you’d like to give the fix mentioned there a try, I’ll gladly assist. Meanwhile, I’m checking with the developers. I’m sure we’ll be able to get this sorted for you shortly. 🙂

    Thanks,
    David

Same issue for me. I had to remove the plugin via FTP.

Sorry everyone, big miss in process for us here and we’ve been working flat out to fix it up since this was noticed (with a new set of developers no less as the core one had gone to sleep thinking stuff was ok :/)

There should be a brand new working version ready for you any minute now.

Won’t happen again, huge apologies and we’ll make it up to you with a free WPMU DEV membership that includes a pro version of this we’re shipping shortly, please just ping me at james (at) incsub /dot/ com and I’ll fix you up.

    James

New version released now, please update and everything should be fine, apologies again, please do get in touch for your free DEV account.

Yes, same thing happened to me too (PHP parse error with the custom sidebar files) – except on several sites. Yikes. I had to pull backups for all of those after I got upsetting calls from my clients. I am leery about trying to install the latest version. For now, I just won’t update that plugin since it is working.

For me, this is the first time that a plug-in update has ever completely broken a site – even preventing access to the dashboard. I will now have to change my workflow. I’ll have to test all plug-in updates in the sandbox before updating live sites. Thanks a lot WPMU.

Hey there @tom-in-chicago and @kristy Sullivan,

I really am sorry if you had any trouble with that previously. The issue has since been resolved (a PHP version issue) with the latest update.

We totally your concerns though and deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please feel free to contact us and we’ll gladly sort out a free upgrade if you’re interested.

And please do let us know if you encounter any issues at all with the latest update here. We’re keeping a keen eye on it and will get any issues sorted right away.

    Thanks,
    David
