Broke without any warning

Was using it for a couple of years. I automatically go in and update themes on a regular basis, which is obviously a mistake, because last week I updated wordpress and this theme. A couple days later, one of my customers contacted me and asked why my web site was ‘so bland’.

Turns out that not only was all the customized text on my site entirely gone, not only had it all reverted to the defaults including the ‘lorem ipsem’ boilerplate, but now when I go on there the customization options are entirely gone, so I literally cannot fix it. I tried disabling it, but it looks like I am going to have to entirely delete it and start from scratch if I want a working web site. In a side note, I have six other sites and two wordpress blogs running fine from this same database, so if it’s a db problem it’s an amazingly localized one.
