@slappycat2 – We would be more than happy to see what you believe to be the issue and your patch to correct it. We have corrected many incompatibilities with a great many plugins (BuddyPress included) but that does not mean a new update to one of those plugins will not introduce another incompatibility.
Thanks!

@slappycat2 – To follow up on Cais’s comment, I also want to emphasize that we have lots of Buddypress users using NextGEN every day. So they are compatible. BuddyPress and NextGEN are both hugely popular so statistically they end up on the same sites frequently. If there was a general, obvious conflict, we’d be hearing about it from a lot of users every day.
Whatever is happening, if it’s a conflict between those two plugins, is likely to be something quite specific. Maybe some specific setting or custom configuration of one plugin or the other?
I’d add that without having details on the issue, it would be difficult to conclude that it is a conflict between BuddyPress and NextGEN. It could be some other element on your site.
As Cais noted, if you’d like us to take a look, let us know. Thanks!
Sure, I appreciate your response and I hope it is something simple. What would you need to take a look.
@slappycat2 – Your best bet would be to start by sending us a Bug Report (http://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) with the details of the problem.
We will likely need log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress installation as well. Please include those with your Bug Report as well.
Thanks!
