Bringing Light & Vibrance to a Boring Backend

It feels a little silly to be heaping so much praise on a backend plugin that “nobody” sees. But the truth is that I probably look at the backend of my site more than most peeps ever look at the frontend.

I find the standard backend UI color choices boring. These football team schemes are colorful and fun and it’s great having all the logos. I’ve been working on a family tree website recently: I take my 12″ Macbook to family parties and have different family members give me into to add, so sometimes others are seeing my backend interface, and sometimes I’ll change it to whoever their favorite football team is.

When I look through the repository and see dozens or sometimes hundreds of plugins that do more-or-less the same thing, search “Google Maps” for example, it seems frustrating, but simple as this plugin is, there’s really no other that adds this much fun or color to the WP Admin UI.
