Bring Back Line Numbering

    After upgrading to 2.8.1 this morning, I notice that the line numbering and markup feature in the Plugins > Editor and Appearances > Editor are gone.

    I know a lot have complained about the feature. However the feature was useful.

    Give us back the option to re-enable it at least, though leave it disabled from the beginning.
