• I am so happy I found Will Brownsberger’s Responsive Tabs theme when I wanted to create a content-rich website for my volleyball club Ardea. Being the secretary of the club, I had plenty of ideas of what to achieve with the new site (mainly: giving people easy one or two click access to a lot of essential information), but not much clue how to get that done. Being completely new to WordPress did not help either.
The cleverly thought out theme aided enormously to structure all the information I had and presenting that in a user friendly manner. The variety of widgets accomodate all types of content, and made it a cinch to hone the site exactly to fit my needs. I even took the ‘tab-theme’ a step further by using tabs (essentially ‘sub-tabs’) in some of my widgets. The tabbed theme gives visitors an easy visual reference where they are within the site. And the clean look keeps the information inviting.
I am writing this review with over 2 years of daily experience with the theme, and I am still as happy with it as the day I found it. The edit window for the widgets is on the small side, I get around that by using the Notepad++-editor and then copying the content to the edit window. Now the website is up and running, I mainly add new material with posts; the widgets fill more or less automatically with headlines, feeds and iframes that show content that is updated in Google sheets.
I think Will Brownberger has a brilliant approach to keep a lot of content easily accessible, and forged a light weight theme to make that approach work for whoever wants to use it. Recommended! Thank you so much for sharing the theme!
